Here’s what I’ve been up to lately!

Now that the holidays are over, and all of the hype around that has been winding down, I am finally able to come on and work on some of the behind the scene tasks that go along with running a business!

Maternity portraits have quickly become my favorite type of session to photograph for several reasons. The BIGGEST reason is that I am able to help pregnant mamas see themselves in a way that they normally don’t. They get to feel like royalty during our time together, by getting pampered with professional hair and makeup, wearing several designer gowns, and being complimented throughout the entirety of the session. There is no rush during my maternity sessions, because I like to take the time to ensure that my mamas are comfortable, confident and looking better than their best!

I know firsthand – women usually do not feel like their best selves at the end of their pregnancy, and there is usually a lot of anxiousness and uncertainty about what is happening inside our bodies. It is very seldom that we are looking at ourselves in their mirror and thinking, “wow, who is this stunning goddess?”. Rarely do we find ourselves taking the time to relish in how amazing it is that our bodies are creating new life! Not just any new life, but our very own BABY!

It is an absolute privilege to be able to create breathtaking images of women during their pregnancies. To make them see their beauty, strength, and to love themselves more.

I love watching women radiate with confidence by the end of their session. Most of us are a bit apprehensive to have someone photograph us at such a vulnerable state, and at the beginning of sessions, we can often take some time to warm up, or ” get into ” the poses. That’s totally normal!

Countless times I have heard “Breanna,  I’m so nervous. I’m not great at posing, and my body is not what I am used to. I’m just so awkward. ” Ladies, I am here for that! I am here to help women feel confident, and THAT is what will make you rock your session! I know we are all a little swollen, have cellulite, stretch marks, and bloat. First of all, that is all beautiful and normal!  Secondly, my photoshop skills are strong. Don’t worry about minor imperfections – I’ve got you!

Book your maternity session! Invest in yourself, and preserve this special memory of your pregnancy! This is the ONLY time that you will be carrying THIS baby, and it’s amazing!
